Data supporting the finite-element study of initially unstressed tension-only ties in a lightweight bamboo space frame

This dataset supports the manuscript entitled “Directional effects of initially unstressed tension-only ties in a lightweight bamboo space frame: A verification-oriented finite-element study”. The archive contains the final data reported in Tables 1–12, editable source data for Figures 4–8, raw G1 model workbooks for configurations M0, ML, MT, and MLT, and standardised model inputs and MIDAS outputs. The model data include nodes, elements, materials, sections, supports, element loads, nodal displacements, beam-end stresses, support reactions, and tension-only tie forces. Numerical audit files document model integrity, applied-load resultants, reaction balance, and selected response summaries. Legacy and superseded intermediate results, the deleted mass-normalised Figure 9, the manuscript file, and the independent finite-element source code are not included in this public dataset. The independent finite-element program is available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request.
