The article presents original research on how need satisfaction influences motivational and managerial’ effectiveness among Romanian public sector employees. Grounded in Maslow’s hierarchy and Self-Determination Theory, data from 807 highly educated civil servants were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).
