Collect and compile historical ancient books recording the South China Sea Islands, spanning from the pre-Qin period to the Republic of China. Develop an AI recognition model for documents related to the South China Sea Islands to enhance the accuracy of engraved character recognition in ancient books, thereby realizing the digitization of all document materials related to the South China Sea Islands since ancient times. The Compiled Database of Documents on the South China Sea Islands of China (covering the Tang Dynasty to the Republic of China) consists of 23 volumes of works.
