Internal Reflection Horizon (IRH) in western Dronning Maud Land, East Antarctica (IRH age = 15.4 ka)

We present internal reflection horizons (IRHs) from airborne radar data in western Dronning Maud Land, East Antarctica. The IRHs were dated at the EDML ice core and IRH ages range between 4.8 and 91.0 ka before present. Radar data were collected with the AWI EMR and UWB radar systems in period between summer seasons 1996/97 and 2023/24.

我们公开了东南极洲毛德皇后地西部机载雷达数据中的内部反射层（internal reflection horizons, IRHs）。该类反射层以EDML冰芯为基准完成定年，其形成年代介于距今4.8至91.0千年之间。雷达数据的采集工作采用了阿尔弗雷德·魏格纳研究所电磁雷达（AWI EMR）与超宽带（Ultra-Wideband, UWB）雷达系统，采集时段覆盖1996/97夏季至2023/24夏季区间。
