全球二氧化碳监测科学实验卫星，简称碳卫星，是由中国自主研制的首颗全球大气二氧化碳观测科学实验卫星。这颗卫星搭载了一体化设计的两台科学载荷，分别是高光谱二氧化碳探测仪以及起辅助作用的多谱段云与气溶胶探测仪。2016年12月22日3时22分，中国在酒泉卫星发射中心用长征二号丁运载火箭成功将全球二氧化碳监测科学实验卫星发射升空。

The Global Carbon Dioxide Monitoring Scientific Experiment Satellite, abbreviated as Carbon Satellite, is the first global atmospheric carbon dioxide observation scientific experiment satellite independently developed by China. This satellite is equipped with two integrated scientific payloads: the hyperspectral carbon dioxide sounder and the auxiliary multi-spectral cloud and aerosol sounder. On December 22, 2016, at 3:22, China successfully launched this satellite via a Long March 2D carrier rocket at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.
