Development of gene expression signatures of liver in a primary Sjögren's syndrome mouse model

To elucidate gene expression signatures of liver induced by Sjögren's syndrome, we have employed whole genome microarray expression profiling as a discovery platform. To establish a primary Sjögren's syndrome mouse model, neonatal thymectomy (Tx) was performed to female NFS/sld mice on day 3 after birth. The gene expression of liver was measured by using liver tissue of female NFS/sld mice at 8 weeks after the Tx surgery. The control mice used in this study were non-thymectomized (nonTx) female NFS/sld mice. Four independent replicate were utilized.
