Silver Creek Water Quality Study

Silver Creek is a primary headwaters stream with a mostly forested watershed. Silver Creek flows into Eagle Creek and then the Mahoning River. We collected water samples at sites along Silver Creek on the J. H. Barrow Field Station, Hiram Township, Portage County, Ohio. The water chemistry parameters and invertebrate and vertebrate fauna has been surveyed episodically, by the Ohio EPA, and Hiram College students.
