MG-ShopDial is a multi-objective e-commerce dialogue dataset created by the University of Stavanger in Norway. It comprises 64 high-quality dialogues, with a total of 2,196 utterances. The dataset was developed via a guided human-human data collection protocol, which aims to simulate complex information-seeking scenarios in e-commerce environments. It covers a wide range of product categories such as books, clothing, office supplies and more, and features both simple and complex scenarios tailored for different complexity levels. MG-ShopDial is particularly suitable for developing future dialogue agents that can naturally handle the evolution of users' conversational goals, aiming to solve the problem of diverse and dynamically changing user information needs in e-commerce.
