<b></b> In this paper, a mechanical drive mechanism for a syringe pump used in biomedical applications is designed and developed. The focus is on a custom gear train that consists of a trapezoidal lead screw connected to a spur gear mesh and stepper motor. Conceptualization, reverse engineering, gear ratio optimization, and validation using ANSYS Workbench for von Mises stress analysis and static structural analysis are all part of the study. Solid Edge was used to model important parts, and laser-cut sheet metal was used to fabricate them. Better force control on the syringe plunger, less mechanical backlash, and precise linear motion is all guaranteed by the upgraded transmission system. The findings show enhanced structural integrity, dependability, and appropriateness for small and effective medical infusion systems.
