Uncertainty rate – Self-reported exposure to robbery, percentage (%)
This is an uncertainty number, for more information see Unsafe data on kolada.se. “Self-reported exposure to robbery, percentage (%)” is an excise estimate from a sample survey. This means that the estimate is not necessarily representative of the population as a whole. However, with the point estimate ± the uncertainty number, one can most likely say that the true mean is within the range. Brå uses asymmetric confidence intervals, in Kolada the uncertainty number is given as the maximum distance between the confidence interval and the point estimate. This means that the point estimate ± uncertainty may differ in one direction to the confidence interval from the NTU. For example, 2019-2020 is merged and published for the last year, such as the year 2020 in Kolada, the results for 2021 and 2022 are merged and the joint result will be published in the year 2022 in Kolada.
