Dataset containing images taken to align a spectrograph sensor in the best-focus position. All computer code is included to compute the best-focus position in addition to determining confidence intervals to the solution. These confidence intervals provide a statistical measure of the variance, characterizing the precision.<br>An example of use document is also included in the form of an IPython notebook (also in .html format) to provide a brief background to the approach as well as a step-by-step guide to using the code.
