Mobile signal strength & signal quality for GSM, UMTS and LTE

The data set provides signal strength and signal quality for mobile communications of the most widely used mobile network operators in Germany using various parameters. Data is provided for GSM, UMTS and LTE mobile technologies. The data is available separately according to mobile technology as a structured, separator-separated ASCII dataset. The parameters include in the GSM network: RSSI | Telekom, Vodafone, Telefonica, Deutsche Bahn (GSM-R) UMTS network: RSSI, EC/IO, RSCP | Telekom, Vodafone, Telefonica LTE network: RSSI, SINR, RSRP, RSRQ | Telekom, Vodafone, Telefonica The measurement was carried out using a professional mobile phone scanner inside a measuring vehicle and using an outdoor antenna near the vehicle roof. Only the best measured value for each parameter and each mobile network operator was extracted at a specific time. The data were primarily collected in the greater Dresden area and in Brandenburg.本数据集提供德国当前应用最广泛的数家移动通信运营商的移动通信信号强度与信号质量数据，涵盖多类测量参数，覆盖全球移动通信系统（Global System for Mobile Communications，GSM）、通用移动通信系统（Universal Mobile Telecommunications System，UMTS）以及长期演进技术（Long Term Evolution，LTE）三类移动通信技术。数据按移动通信技术分类，以结构化的分隔符分隔ASCII数据集形式单独发布。 各网络对应的测量参数如下： - GSM网络：接收信号强度指示（Received Signal Strength Indicator，RSSI），涉及运营商包括德国电信（Telekom）、沃达丰（Vodafone）、西班牙电信（Telefonica）以及德国铁路（Deutsche Bahn，GSM-R专用通信网络） - UMTS网络：接收信号强度指示（RSSI）、能量码片与干扰码片比（Energy Chip to Interference Chip Ratio，EC/IO）、接收信号码功率（Received Signal Code Power，RSCP），运营商为德国电信、沃达丰、西班牙电信 - LTE网络：接收信号强度指示（RSSI）、信干噪比（Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio，SINR）、参考信号接收功率（Reference Signal Received Power，RSRP）、参考信号接收质量（Reference Signal Received Quality，RSRQ），运营商为德国电信、沃达丰、西班牙电信 本次数据采集采用专业手机扫描设备，搭载安装于测量车辆车顶附近的外置天线完成。在特定采样时刻，仅提取各参数对应每家移动通信运营商的最优测量值。数据主要采集于大德累斯顿都会区及勃兰登堡州境内。
