Data for Investigation of NOx Scaling Laws in Swirled Partially-Premixed Hydrogen Flames on a Coaxial Injector

This dataset describes the experimental parameters and the associated flame nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions and size measurements for 54 configurations of varying swirl number, equivalence ratio and injection diameter, in order to validate NOx scaling laws. The dataset contains the experimental conditions for each of the 54 data points, including mass flow rate, swirl numbers, injector diameters and equivalence ratio, logged and averaged over a 30 second window. It also contains measurement results of flame length and flame volume, estimated using Otsu thresholding on OH* chemiluminescence flame images. Finally, a NOx emission index, calculated using from gas analysis measurement is also included.
