Evolution of SARS-CoV-2 and cell response analysis. FT_Covid19_n05

The study gathers SARS-CoV-2 sequences from different sources:(i) FVG region; (ii) national territory and ICGEB member countries; (iii) environmental samples. It is focused on specific aspects such as the evolution of the virus and the study of variants (intrapatient, in family clusters, in disadvantaged territories where it is necessary to provide support to map the virus), in environmental samples that can pose a health threat. Another objective, is to study the transcriptional response to the infection of different variants identified in the first part of the work to define the characteristics of infectivity and cellular response to infection.
