DMRM makes no guarantee or warranty concerning the accuracy of information contained in the geographic data. DMRM further makes no warranties, either expressed or implied, as to the condition of the product, or its fitness for any particular purpose. The burden for determining fitness for use lies entirely with the user. Although these data have been processed successfully on computers of DMRM, no warranty, expressed or implied, is made by DMRM regarding the use of these data on any other system, nor does the fact of distribution constitute or imply any such warranty. In no event shall the ODNR or DMRM have any liability whatsoever for payment of any consequential, incidental, indirect, special, or tort damages of any kind, including, but not limited to, any loss of profits arising out of use of or reliance on the geographic data. DMRM GIS Policy Statement: It is the position of the Division of Mineral Resources Management (DMRM) that GIS data/layers/applications are categorized as publication. Similar to published books or maps, the DMRM view GIS layers and applications as forms of authored materials for which certain copyright protections are applicable. As such, the originator of GIS data layers/applications should be properly cited or credited whenever such material is used. Furthermore, one cannot incorporate another's GIS data/layers/applications into a larger work, or make changes to the original data/layers/applications, and then claim to be the originator of that GIS. Each DMRM staff person is instructed to follow these guidelines whenever referencing or using another agency, company, or individual's GIS data/layers/applications.
