Replication Code: The Role of Education and Attitudes in Cooking Fuel Choice: Evidence from two states in India

Summary: This code supports the analysis and production of tables, and figures for the manuscript. The data that support the analysis were supplied to the authors directly by the Clean Cooking Alliance. Data can be made available upon reasonable request. This archive contains only code. Instructions: First, download all codes and place them in the same folder. The code is broken up into several scripts. The main code itself draws on other code files. Therefore, one does not have to run the entire code but rather can run snippets as desired. However, code "1_" must be run before any other analyses as it creates necessary variables and data subsets. The rest of the codes, labeled descriptively, are as follows: Contents: 0) Main code that draws on the other codes. 1) Processing: Creates variables and subsets. 2) Makes descriptive tables. 3) Makes descriptive figures. 4) Makes maps. 5) Runs main regressions and produces relevant figures. 6) Runs supporting regressions and produces relevant figures.
