MYB transcription factor is one of the largest family in higher plant which widely participates in the regulation of plant growth and development, plant hormone signal transduction, and plant response to biotic or abiotic stresses.In our previous study, overexpression of BnMYB2 in Arabidopsis thaliana resulted in a significant increase of Cd tolerance and accumulation. However, the mechanism of BnMYB2 regulation of the downstream genes is yet to be explored. In order to reveal the molecular mechanisms of BnMYB2 involved in cadmium tolerance and accumulation, the RNA-seq was performed on shoots of BnMYB2 transgenic Arabidopsis thaliana lines under cadmium stress.
