Community Import Area for the Conservation of Birds (ZICO) of Cantal

The objectives of the European directive on the conservation of wild birds are:

the protection of habitats to ensure the survival and reproduction of rare or threatened wild birds,

protection of breeding, moulting, wintering and migration relay areas for all migratory species.

This is an inventory under this directive, not regulatory protection. But the presence of an IBA is indicative of biological interest.

本数据集属于该指令框架下的名录调查，并非法定保护范畴。但重要鸟类栖息地（Important Bird Area，IBA）的存在，即表明其具有生物学保育价值。
