Dataset for article: Friendship modulates physical effort and neural dynamics during group coordination in shared social networks

In total 31 triads were recruited, but one participant was not compliant with the task and was excluded, hence there is only data for the remaining 92 participants which the analysis is based upon.<b>EEG data</b>The individual .fif files correspond to the preprocessed EEG files for each participant, with the number matching a specific triad and the letter indicating a specific participant from that triad, i.e. A = P1, B = P2 and C = P3. The EEG data consist of up to 300 trials (epoched from -0.5s to 5.5s relative to trial onset), across 10 different conditions.The 10 conditions correspond to whether it is solo, dyadic or triadic and whether it was with or without continuous visual feedback based on the following definitions:T1P = Solo (Task with 1 Person)T12P = Dyadic (Task with P1 and P2)T13P = Dyadic (Task with P1 and P3)T23P = Dyadic (Task with P2 and P3)T3P = Triadic (Task with 3 people)Additionally if there is a suffix "n", e.g. T1Pn, then it means "no continuous feedback" during the trial, but the feedback is then shown at t = 4.00 when the trial ends.<b>Behavioural data</b>Force_df.pkl is a dataframe with the raw force outputs from the force devices for all triads, trials and timepoints. It also contains the rate of force development (RFD).Beh.feat_df.pkl is a dataframe with the computed behavioural features, e.g. whether a trial was successful, relative force upon hitting the target, latency to success, stability around the target and coefficient of variability of the force.<b>Friendship data</b>Friendship_df.pkl is a dataframe with the friendship questionnaire answers regarding number of friends, friendship status in the triad and age and gender.
