Raw ship-based Navigation Data from the Mid-Atlantic Ridge Spreading Center acquired during the Roger Revelle expedition KNOX18RR (2008)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based Navigation system during Roger Revelle expedition KNOX18RR conducted in 2008 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Anna-Louise Reysenbach). These data files are of Text File (ASCII) format and include Navigation data that have not been processed. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Diversity and Distribution of Thermoacidophiles and Hydrogen Oxidizers at Deep-sea Hydrothermal Vents, Organic Geochemical Investigation of Mid-Atlantic Ridge Hydrothermal Systems, In-Situ Chemical Sensors for Monitoring the Chemistry of Hydrothermal Vent Fluids at Mid-Ocean Ridges: Instrument Development and Field Applications, and Mid-Atlantic Ridge 2008 - Cruise Wesbsite, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE05-25907, OCE05-49829, OCE05-50800, and OCE07-28391.
