TeHV Diagnosis = Positive or negative cases of herpesvirus infection based on the presence or absence, respectively, of the characteristic intranuclear inclusions in stained tissue sections. TG4/1998 is the only exception since although no inclusions were observed in the examined tissues, the tortoise was known to be infected with TeHV3 given that was part of a group of tortoises experimentally infected with US1976/98 [34].
