Remarkable trees located on the territory of the City of Brussels

Since 2002, the Cultural Heritage Department of Brussels Urbanism and Heritage (Urban) has been carrying out a scientific inventory of the region's remarkable trees. The aim of this inventory is to discover and protect the woody heritage of Brussels.To ensure that the regional inventory is as exhaustive as possible, surveys are carried out both in private areas (gardens and inner city blocks) and in public spaces. The results of the surveys are entered into a database that classifies the trees according to criteria (species, rarity, circumference, historical interest, landscape impact, etc.) and selects those with a high heritage value. 自2002年起，布鲁塞尔城市规划与遗产局（Brussels Urbanism and Heritage，简称Urban）下属的文化遗产部门，已针对该区域的特色树木启动科学普查工作。本次普查的核心目标为发掘并保护布鲁塞尔的木本文化遗产。为确保区域普查尽可能全面详尽，普查工作同步覆盖私人区域（私人花园及城市内部街区）与公共空间。调研结果将被录入专属数据库，该数据库将依据物种、稀有程度、树干周长、历史价值、景观影响等多项标准对树木进行分类，并遴选出具备高遗产价值的个体。部分普查数据还将提交至比利时树木学协会（Belgische Dendrologie Belge），由该协会在国家层面完成信息整合与归集。更多相关信息请点击此处：https://sites.heritage.brussels/fr/inventaire/
