Diving beetle (Coleoptera: Dytiscidae) diversity data along an urban gradient

Biodivers Conserv 29, 2343–2359. https://doi.org/10.1007/s10531-020-01977-9 The data was collected with 1-L activity traps (also known as bottle traps). Species richness and abundance are included. The extent of urbanisation was collected with a 500m buffer zone. The water depth at the trap level was collected at points 1m away from the shore, utilised as a way to estimate pond margin steepness in Liao et al (2020).

本数据集采用1升活动诱捕器（activity traps，亦称瓶式诱捕器）采集，包含物种丰富度与种群丰度信息。城市化程度通过500米缓冲区进行测算。诱捕器布设位置的水深于距岸1米处测定，该数据在Liao等（2020）的研究中被用于估算池塘岸坡的陡峭程度。
