资源简介:

This supplementary file accompanies the manuscript Traditional Weather Forecasting in the Age of Climate Change: Folk Meteorology, Indigenous Knowledge, Disaster Preparedness, and Coastal Resilience in the Philippines. It contains 31 appendices documenting Indigenous and local ecological knowledge (ILEK) and Bicolano folk meteorological practices collected from coastal communities in the Bicol Region, Philippines. The appendices include traditional weather indicators, wind classification systems, seasonal calendars, environmental and biological forecasting signs, tsunami and storm surge warning indicators, cultural interpretations of typhoons, disaster preparedness practices, community resilience narratives, and conceptual frameworks integrating Indigenous knowledge with modern disaster risk reduction and climate adaptation. These supplementary materials provide the empirical, cultural, and contextual evidence supporting the analyses presented in the main manuscript and are intended to facilitate transparency, reproducibility, and future research on Indigenous disaster knowledge systems.
