HLY-08-01 Raw 75 KHz ADCP Data [Cooper, L./LDEO]

This dataset includes data from the 75 KHz ADCP system onboard the US Coast Guard Cutter Healy during the Bering Sea Ecosystem Study-Bering Sea Integrated Ecosystem Research Program (BEST-BSIERP) 2008 0801 (early spring) cruise. BEST-BSIERP together are the Bering Sea project. The ADCP system measures currents in the depth range from about 30 to 300 m in good weather. In bad weather or in ice, the range is less, and sometimes no valid measurements are made. The individual data files have been collected into tar files by day according to the sequence number. 本数据集涵盖美国海岸警卫队“希利号”（US Coast Guard Cutter Healy）搭载的75 kHz声学多普勒流速剖面仪（ADCP, Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler）系统，在2008年白令海生态研究-白令海综合生态研究计划（BEST-BSIERP）0801航次（早春时段）期间采集的全部相关数据。
BEST-BSIERP即为本次白令海研究项目的全称。
该ADCP系统在天气状况良好时，可测量30米至300米深度范围内的海流；若遭遇恶劣天气或存在海冰，测量范围会相应缩小，有时甚至无法获取有效测量数据。
各独立数据文件已按日期结合序号整理打包为tar归档文件。以下为各tar归档文件内包含的数据文件的扩展名及其对应含义：
