A Cultural Resources Survey of 1,032 Acres of Withdrawn Land Along the Lower Verde River West of Bartlett Dam, Maricopa County, Arizona

As required under Section 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act, the Bureau of Reclamation's (Reclamation) Phoenix Area Office (PXAO) requested Northland Research, Inc. (Northland) conduct a Class III survey of 1,032 acres of withdrawn lands along the lower Verde River west of Bartlett Dam. The land was withdrawn for the Salt River Project (SRP) and is administered by the Cave Creek Ranger District of the Tonto National Forest (TNF).
The goal of the survey is to provide an inventory and assessment of cultural resources that occur within the area for planning purposes. There was no federal action associated with this survey. Northland identified 21 archaeological sites and 124 isolated occurrences. Fourteen sites were recommended eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places and 6 were recommended not eligible.

本次调查旨在为规划工作提供该区域内文化资源的清查与评估，且本次调查未关联任何联邦行政行动。诺斯兰研究公司共识别出21处考古遗址与124处孤立遗存，其中14处遗址被推荐纳入《国家历史遗迹名录》（National Register of Historic Places），6处遗址被建议不予列入该名录。
