To screen the differential expression of mRNAs and lncRNAs in Human pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells (HPMECs) subjected to cyclic stretch, we performed transcriptome profiling using Affymetrix Human Transcriptome Array 2.0. HPMECs were plated on Flexcell plates coated in collagen IV. The cells were subjected to 20% cyclic stretch for 0 or 2 hr (n = 3 per group). Total RNA was isolated and transcriptome profiling was done to identify differentially expressed lncRNAs and mRNAs which occur secondary to cyclic stretch.
