B2K template images for neuroimaging in baboon Black KJ, Snyder AZ, Koller JM, Gado MH, Perlmutter JS Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO 28 July 2000 (last updated 15 February 2001) please reference this page as purl.org/net/kbmd/b2k Brief description The b2k and b2kf images ("b" for baboon, "f" for blood flow) are intended for use as templates for automated 3D image registration algorithms for neuroimaging stidies in baboons. The b2k template is an average (after spatial normalization) of T1-weighted MRI images from 9 normal baboons, and the b2kf template is averaged from 397 [15O]water PET images in 7 normal baboons. Coordinates from the 1968 Davis and Huffman photomicrographic atlas of baboon brain can be derived from pixel coordinates in these images according to the conventions described in the attached appendix.html file (they are automatically computed by SPM based on the supplied .hdr files). Details of the images' formation and a test of the accuracy of our image registration software when registering MPRAGE and PET blood flow images to these templates appear in NeuroImage. The GIF files show a quick view of one slice of the template images. Corresponding images are also available for use with Macaca nemestrina (the pig-tailed macaque) and Macaca fascicularis (cynomolgus monkey). Its volume is 185 ml (185479 voxels). Note: Bonferroni correction for overall p < 0.05 with 185479 independent tests is p < 2.70 x 10-7, corresponding to a Z score of about 5.14 (two tails) or 5.01 (one tail). The loose mask (used for image registration with our local software) was created by dilating the tight mask slightly; its volume is 242 ml (241739 voxels).

本数据集包含b2k与b2kf图像(其中“b”代表狒狒,“f”代表脑血流),旨在作为狒狒神经影像学研究中自动化三维图像配准算法的模板。其中b2k模板为9只正常狒狒的T1加权磁共振成像(T1-weighted MRI)经空间标准化后的平均图像;b2kf模板则由7只正常狒狒的397幅[15O]水正电子发射断层扫描([15O]water PET)图像平均得到。可根据随附的附录.html文件中所述的坐标系转换规则,将本图像的像素坐标转换为1968年Davis与Huffman狒狒脑显微照相图谱中的对应坐标,该转换可由统计参数映射(Statistical Parametric Mapping, SPM)基于提供的.hdr头文件自动完成。关于图像构建细节,以及将磁化准备快速梯度回波(MPRAGE)图像与PET脑血流图像配准至本模板时的配准软件精度验证,详见期刊《NeuroImage》。本数据集附带的图形交换格式(Graphics Interchange Format, GIF)图像可快速预览模板图像的单一层面。另有适配猪尾猴(Macaca nemestrina, pig-tailed macaque)与食蟹猕猴(Macaca fascicularis, cynomolgus monkey)的对应模板图像可供使用。
