Fungal ITS

The ITS RefSeq Targeted Loci project is the result of an international collaboration with fungal taxonomic specialists to verify and provide a curated set of complete and near full length sequences with specimen data and correct taxonomic names. Collaborators at MycoBank, Index Fungorum, ISHAM, UNITE and curators from various culture and herbarium collections around the world contributed to this effort. ITS RefSeq accessions (NR_ ) include sequences mostly obtained from type specimens and a few from verified specimens (ultimately to be replaced with sequences from type specimens). The collection source of type material are indicated in each record and collection acronyms follows the collection codes maintained at the NCBI collections database.

ITS RefSeq靶向基因座项目是与全球真菌分类学专家开展国际合作的成果，旨在验证并提供一套经编校整理的完整及近全长序列集合，配套标本数据与准确的分类学名称。来自MycoBank、Index Fungorum、ISHAM、UNITE的合作方，以及全球各地各类培养物保藏机构与标本馆的馆藏馆员均为本项目贡献了力量。ITS RefSeq登录号（以NR_开头）的序列大多源自模式标本（type specimens），少量来自已验证的标本（后续将替换为模式标本序列）。每份记录均标注了模式标本的馆藏来源，保藏机构缩写遵循NCBI馆藏数据库维护的馆藏代码规范。
