My thesis contains 3 trials (Chapters 3-5): Chapter 3 examines the immediate effects of a 2 A4-page colourful tobacco industry denormalisation (TID) worksheet on Primary 4-6 students’ TID belief, general attitudes towards smoking, support for tobacco control measures and susceptibility to using cigarettes and electronic cigarettes (ECs). Chapter 4 firstly examines the immediate effects (T1) of the 2 A4-page colourful alternative smoking products (ASP) worksheet on Primary 4-6 students’ ASP-related knowledge, TID belief, perceived risks and acceptability of ASPs, and susceptibility to using ASPs. Then, the feasibility of conducting a 1-month online booster session and a 1-month online follow-up assessment (T1) of the intervention is also explored. Chapter 5 examines the immediate effects (T1) of a TID-tailored video and a 2 A4-page colourful TID worksheet on Primary 4-6 students’ TID belief, ASP-related knowledge, perceived risks and acceptability of ASPs, general views on the tobacco industry and susceptibility to using ASPs. The feasibility of conducting a 2-week on-site booster session (T2) and the 1- (T3) and 3-month (T4) on-site follow-up assessments are also included.
本论文包含3项试验(对应第3至5章):第3章考察了2页A4幅面的彩印烟草行业去正常化(Tobacco Industry Denormalisation, TID)工作单,对小学4-6年级学生的TID认知、吸烟总体态度、控烟措施支持度,以及吸烟和电子烟(Electronic Cigarettes, ECs)使用易感性的即时影响。第4章首先考察了2页A4幅面的彩印替代吸烟产品(Alternative Smoking Products, ASP)工作单,对小学4-6年级学生的ASP相关知识、TID认知、感知风险、ASP接受度,以及ASP使用易感性的即时影响(T1阶段);同时还探索了开展1个月线上强化课程与1个月线上干预后追踪评估(T1阶段)的可行性。第5章考察了定制化TID视频与2页A4幅面的彩印TID工作单,对小学4-6年级学生的TID认知、ASP相关知识、感知风险与ASP接受度、烟草行业总体看法,以及ASP使用易感性的即时影响(T1阶段);同时纳入了开展2周线下强化课程(T2阶段)以及1个月(T3)、3个月(T4)线下追踪评估的可行性探索。
