Benthic colonization on new materials for marine ecosystem restoration in Porto Cesareo, Italy

We tested the efficacy of these materials with restoration purposes through experimental tiles consisting in Biochar (B), Bioferment (F), and tiles made of concrete which were used as controls (Ct) for the colonization of marine organisms in the marine protected area of Porto Cesareo, Southern Italy (20m depth). Tiles were monitored making photographs from October 2019 to September 2021, and the colonization process analyzed using the software Photoquad.

本研究针对生态修复用途的材料，通过实验挂片开展海洋生物附着效能测试：实验挂片分别由生物炭（Biochar，B）、生物发酵材料（Bioferment，F）制成，另设置混凝土挂片作为海洋生物附着实验的对照组（Ct）。实验布设点位位于意大利南部波尔图切萨雷奥海洋保护区（Marine Protected Area），水深20米处。自2019年10月至2021年9月，通过拍摄照片对挂片进行监测，并采用Photoquad软件分析海洋生物附着过程。
