This project aims to investigate the taxonomical diversity and metabolic potential of 44 putative Vibrio isolates originating from Sargassum fluitans (n = 14), seagrass (n =15), and seawater (n = 15), which were isolated using TCBS agar. Whole genome sequencing, assembly of draft genomes, and taxonomic assignment using GTDB-Tk v2.6.1 indicated that forty-two isolates belong to the genus Vibrio, one to Photobacterium, and one Psychrobacter.
