Spindel et al. (2015) presented this tropical rice genome dataset that includes 73,147 SNP markers for 363 elite breeding lines categorized into either indica or indica-admixed groups. Observations of phenotypic values were recorded in 2009–2012, with 35 out of 363 individuals having missing values. We used the genotype data for the remaining 328 individuals for our simulation study. One SNP marker was randomly chosen from each 0.1 cM interval across all chromosomes, resulting in a total of 10,772 SNP markers out of 73,147.Article: Spindel J, Begum H, Akdemir D, Virk P, Collard B, et al.
