Multi-source Mapping of Peatland Types using Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2 and Terrain Derivatives – A Comparison Between Five High-latitude Landscapes

Dataset used in the publication "Multi-source mapping of peatland types using Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2 and terrain derivatives – A comparison between five high-latitude landscapes". The five sites include North Slope (Alaska), Yukon (Canada), Great Slave Lake (Canada), Hudson Bay Lowlands (Canada) and northern Sweden (Scandinavia).

This dataset includes reference data in shape-file format. It also includes a description of classes used in the classification.

The dataset was originally published in DiVA and moved to SND in 2024.

本数据集应用于论文《利用Sentinel-1、Sentinel-2与地形衍生数据开展泥炭地类型多源制图——五种高纬度景观对比研究》（"Multi-source mapping of peatland types using Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2 and terrain derivatives – A comparison between five high-latitude landscapes"）。该研究涉及的五个研究站点分别为阿拉斯加北坡、加拿大育空地区、加拿大大奴湖区域、加拿大哈得逊湾低地以及瑞典北部（斯堪的纳维亚地区）。本数据集包含shapefile格式的参考数据，同时涵盖分类所用的类别说明。该数据集最初于DiVA平台发布，并于2024年迁移至SND平台。
