Register of installations where dangerous substances are present/Reported major accident logbook (RPOT/OPVN)

Most of the data is accessible to the public via the links provided in the data display section for the public. In the case of the required confidentiality of certain information by the owner of the information (operator and installation area) and the approval thereof (by the competent authorities), the information is not visible to the public. The database contains information on the operators and their areas of the installation in the Republic of Croatia: information on the operator class i.e. the installation area (according to Annexes IIA and IIB respectively); information on the type and quantity of dangerous substances (according to Annex IA and IB of the Regulation respectively), the manner of their storage, etc.; Gauss-Krüger coordinates, description and location of the installation area, preparation of safety reports, plans and other documents in accordance with legislation (Security and Rescue Regulation); major accident prevention policy and safety management system such as the likelihood of a major accident outbreak and domino effect, the vulnerability zone, possible number of casualties, etc.; any confidentiality; type of major accident/sudden event/avoided accident, etc. The data contained within the database were collected on the basis of ‘online reporting’ by the data reporting debtors, according to Annexes IIA or IIB (‘Seveso installations’). Legal basis: Regulation on the prevention of major accidents involving dangerous substances (NN No 44/14), the Ordinance on the Register of installations in which dangerous substances are present and on the register of reported major accidents (OG 139/14).
