Anthromes 12K Full Dataset

GIS data for the global maps of Anthromes 12K. This dataset is a zip file composed of a set of 73 zip files containing 5 arc minute ArcInfo ASCII GRIDs for the ~12,000 years from 10,000 BCE to 2015 CE. Please cite : Ellis, E.C., A.H.W. Data are provided for: 1000 yr increments from 10,000 BCE to 1 CE (11 zip files) 100 yr increments from 100 CE to 1700 CE (17 zip files) 10 yr increments from 1710 to 1990 CE (29 zip files) 1 yr increments from 2000 CE to 2015 CE (16 zip files) The Anthromes v2.1 classification system of these data is based on the Anthromes v2.0 classification described in Ellis et al. 2010. The Anthromes 12K dataset was produced by classifying HYDE 3.2 data for population and land use, which can be downloaded here: https://doi.org/10.17026/dans-25g-gez3
