The Open Data Barometer 2016 is a global measure of how governments are publishing and using open data for accountability, innovation and social impact. The dataset contains tabular records, with each row representing a data entry. It covers multiple African countries including Benin, Botswana, Cape Verde, Ethiopia, Kenya, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, and others. The dataset consists of 41 rows and 24 columns (21 numeric, 3 categorical), and is split into train (32 rows) and test (8 rows) sets. Published by the World Wide Web Foundation, the data has been processed by Electric Sheep Africa into ML-ready Parquet format.
