资源简介:
Escherichia coli Deng is a member of the enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC). EPEC is a common pathogen leading to infant diarrhea and usually colonizes in the small intestine. The genome sequence of this strain provides a map for the reevaluation of the phenotypes of EPEC and facilitate broader applications of this organism for comparison of genotypic differences among members of this species. This strain is resistant to ciprofloxaxin and Ampincillin and can be used as a reference genome for ciprofloxaxin-resistant EPEC. Bacteria and source DNA were provided and preserved by Doctor Qiwen Deng, M.D. (Director, Division of Infectious Diseases, The Affiliated Shenzhen Nanshan Hospital of Guangdong Medical College at No 89, Taoyuan Road, Nanshan district, Shenzhen, China).
