PV-BESS Model (Malaysia)

This model, including its underlying assumptions and methodologies, was specifically created to support the research presented in the journal paper: "Dispatch Strategies for Battery Energy Storage System integrated with Utility Scale Solar System for Contingency Reserve Service: A Malaysian Perspective." in Next Energy Journal. 1. The MATLAB Simulink Model "PV_BESS_Model_Malaysia" is created using MATLAB version R2024A. It is a model to simulate PV-BESS operation to participate contingency reserve service in Malaysia. 2. The excel "Dataset_GHI_Kudat_2023-08" consisted of solar irradiance dataset collected in Kudat, Sabah. which to be use together with the MATLAB Simulink Model.
