Full panorama images of 56 field plot centres during the expedition to Chukotka and Yakutia, summer 2018

During an expedition to central and eastern Siberia in summer 2018, full panoramic images of the sampled vegetation plots were captured for documentation purposes. The images were taken with a 360 camera (Samsung Gear 360) and from the centre 2-4 images recorded at the centre position of the vegetation plot standing at different positions. The images were stitched in the supplied software to 360x180 panorama images (7776x3888 pixels, raw images). These were aligned in Hugin Panorama Software (https://hugin.sourceforge.io/) and humans or other artificial objects masked. The final panorama was blended and gaps or human shadow errors healed with GIMP resynthesizer plugin (https://github.com/bootchk/resynthesizer) and exported into one image with 7776x3888 pixels.

2018年夏季，研究团队于西伯利亚中部与东部开展考察期间，为完成文档记录工作，拍摄了全部采样植被样地的完整全景图像。本次拍摄采用三星Gear 360全景相机（360 camera），在植被样地中心的不同站位共采集2至4张图像。使用配套拼接软件将采集到的图像合成为360×180度全景图像，分辨率为7776×3888像素，格式为原始图像（raw images）。随后在Hugin全景软件（Hugin Panorama Software，https://hugin.sourceforge.io/）中对拼接后的图像进行对齐操作，并对图像中的人物及其他人工物体实施蒙版处理。最终，通过GIMP Resynthesizer插件（GIMP resynthesizer plugin，https://github.com/bootchk/resynthesizer）对全景图像进行色彩融合，并修复图像缝隙与人物阴影等瑕疵，最终导出分辨率为7776×3888像素的单张全景图像。
