Dateset for "Empathy and Citizen's Social-Political Attitude Age as a Moderator"

This dataset accompanies the manuscript titled "Empathy and Citizen's Social-Political Attitudes: Age as a Moderator". It contains the raw data necessary to reproduce the main analyses reported in the study. Study Overview: This study examined how empathy influences citizens' social-political attitudes and tested whether age moderates this relationship (normative identity style was included as a control variable). Key Variables "ID" : Anonymous participant ID (1, 2, 3...)."age": young and old group."gender": Male and Female."empathy": range11-40, higher scores indicate greater empathy. "normative identity style": range 7-35, higher scores indicate greater normative identity style."democracy": range 17-35, higher scores indicate greater support for democracy. How to Use:This data can be directly imported into statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) for analysis. Key analyses include correlation, hierarchical regression to test the moderation effect of age.
