This repository provides MATLAB scripts for extracting the Distribution of Relaxation Times (DRT) from Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) data using a data-driven approach based on the Loewner framework (LF). The methodology is demonstrated through the analysis of synthetic EIS data from different variants of Randles equivalent circuit models (ECMs), highlighting the capability of the LF-derived DRTs to distinguish them effectively despite their similar impedance spectra. Furthermore, the approach is validated using experimental EIS data from a ferrocyanide redox system, successfully identifying the most appropriate ECM. The repository also includes the analyzed experimental data to facilitate further validation and exploration. All necessary instructions and explanations for using the scripts are provided within the scripts themselves as comments.
