Implantation failure limits the success rate of both natural and in vitro fertilization (IVF)-assisted conceptions. Dysbiosis in reproductive tract bacterial communities leads to implantation failure. However, whether the gut bacterial dysbiosis plays a role in implantation failure independently and/or through cross-talk with the reproductive bacterial communities remains unexplored.
