The data is sourced from ILOSTAT, the ILOs central statistics database, which harmonizes raw survey microdata using International Conference of Labour Statisticians definitions. It is provided in tabular format with columns including country code, country name, source, indicator code, sex disaggregation, occupation classification, establishment size classification, observation year, observed value, and observation status, among others. The dataset covers countries such as Mongolia, Turkey, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and includes data quality notes, e.g., annual frequency and use of ILO-selected best source. Repackaged by Electric Sheep Asia, it aims to provide a unified, ML-ready data layer for Asia, enabling researchers and developers to quickly load and analyze the data.
