UC Santa Barbara Engineering Seismology Network

UCSB has been operating densely instrumented geotechnical array field sites in California for the last 25 years. The funding source for the operations of these engineering seismology research facilities has been primarily through the U.S. Federal Government, including the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and the National Science Foundation (NSF), and also from the Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
