we offered an insight for the first time that PhIP exposure indeed increased the risk of abnormality of early cardiogenesis, and SFN was able to rescue various concentrations of PhIP-induced abnormal heart tube formation through targeting EGFR and mediating EGFR/MAPK signaling pathway, a previously unobserved regulatory process.
