Bacterial spot of tomato: strain diversity, dynamics, and environmental drivers in the southeastern United States

This study describes a large-scale survey of pathogen diversity using high-resolution metagenome profiling. It then uses machine learning models to study the influence of climatic factors on strain dynamics and disease severity during the growing season and three years across the fields in the southeast United States.
