Hadal Fish eDNA Metabarcoding Data from Two Northwest Pacific Trenches Using In Situ Filtration
收藏资源简介:
Processed environmental DNA (eDNA) metabarcoding data supporting the manuscript “Integrating In Situ eDNA Filtration and Video Observations to Characterize Hadal Fish Fauna in Two Northwest Pacific Trenches.” The dataset includes non-chimeric amplicon sequence variant (ASV) sequences, ASV read-count data, downstream taxonomic assignments, sampling metadata, and pMiFish analysis settings. Raw sequencing reads are available from the DNA Data Bank of Japan (DDBJ) under BioProject PRJDB37774. The main pMiFish reference database did not contain unpublished reference sequences of Pseudoliparis belyaevi and Pseudoliparis amblystomopsis. The dominant environmental ASV from the Izu–Ogasawara Trench was subsequently compared locally with these unpublished reference sequences and showed 100% identity to P. belyaevi. The unpublished reference sequences themselves are not included in this dataset.
