RNA sequencing analysis was performed on the relevant genes of Monascus ruber GLTP24 strain, which was obtained by knocking out the glucose transporter gene GLTP1 from the parent strain Monascus ruber CICC41233. This study reveals the regulatory effect of the glucose transporter protein GLTP1 on the biosynthesis of monascus pigments.
