Data underlying the PhD thesis: The Climate Impact of Hypersonic Aircraft

The datasets contain data to plot figures part of the related dissertation. Results are based on simulations of the atmosphere with the Earth system models EMAC and LMDZ-INCA. The research objective was to evaluate the climate impact of civil hypersonic aircraft. The first step is to calculate middle atmospheric changes caused by hypersonic emission of water vapour, hydrogen and nitrogen oxides. The second step is to calculate the radiative forcing and mean surface temperature change following the change in atmospheric composition.

本数据集包含用于绘制相关学位论文部分图表的数据。所有研究结果均基于采用地球系统模型EMAC与LMDZ-INCA开展的大气模拟。本研究的目标为评估民用高超音速飞行器的气候影响。第一阶段的研究内容为计算由水蒸气、氢气与氮氧化物的高超音速排放所引发的中层大气变化。第二阶段则为基于大气成分的变化，计算辐射强迫（radiative forcing）与地表平均温度的变化。
